About Us
Max Scott
Scott's Irrigation was founded by Max Scott in 1977. The family tradition of excellent service provided by Scott's Irrigation continues with Max's son, Clay Scott. Clay has been working with the company since he was 14 years old. After graduating from The University of New Mexico in 2006, he joined the company full time and became the manager for owners, Max and Carolyn Scott. Melissa Scott, Clay's wife, also graduated from UNM, and joined the company in 2008 as the company's office manager.
In 2018, Peggy Wright joined the Scott's Irrigation team to help with design, project management and estimates. Peggy Wright holds a Masters of Landscape Architecture from UNM and has over 20 years of landscape design experience in the Santa Fe area.
Our foreman, Lando with Max
Our outstanding foreman, Lando, has been with the company for over 20 years. All of our crew supervisors, have been with the company a minimum of 15 years, in addition many of our staff are the sons of some of the original employees.
Making our clients happy is our primary goal.
Clay Scott and Peggy Wright work with homeowners to develop design solutions for virtually any type of landscape project. Once the client's vision is clarified, we are happy to provide an estimate for the installation of the project.
In 2012, Scotts Irrigation was awarded Special recognition from the Santa Fe Garden Club for their work at Christ Church in Santa Fe. In 2020, Scott's Irrigation won an award from "Keep Santa Fe Beautiful" for their revitalization of a street median on Paseo de Peralta. In 2023, Scotts irrigation designed and installed a contemporary garden with a Japanese touch for a new home that won the Parade of Homes Grand Hacienda award.
